Though I have much to share, my laptop has died again, and apparently my scanner made a suicide pact with it. I'm faced with an inability to paint, again, somebody tell me this isn't happening.
So, if a system file decides to leave, is HP or Microsoft to blame? And do Epson scanners break if they aren't used for a while?
I just noticed I've been accumulating a number of pageviews, I thought that maybe I should say thanks. I hope everyone that's looked enjoyed the time they spent here.
Also, my PSU died last week. Seems everything electronic I touch dies.
PSA: Do not play Civilization IV. as indicated above it is crack, it will consume all of your life. Sid Meier is a terrible person.
EDIT: My laptop is the machine I used to paint and make I Wish. I tried starting it up this morning and I repeatedly get a crash message before windows even starts. I tried the PheonixBIOS HD test and it didn't even make it past 0% before giving me a fail message. I have no idea how this happened, how to fix it, and I have no money. If anyone has any idea how I can get my files off of the HD, just in case they survived my computer's overnight suicide, you'd uncrush my spirit and I'd really like that. Thank you.
Nigh impossible to find in Denver, but plenty of places to live. Course I can't afford the latter without the former. Any ti
